Well, we’re in South Padre Island, TX. now and are enjoying the air-conditioning in the shops, restaurants and our car! 🙂
We decided the best time to go out for a stroll was early in the morning, to avoid the heat, but also to enjoy the sunrise. South Padre Island is a spit of land which separates the mainland of Texas from the Gulf of Mexico, and from where we are, at the base of the island, the coastline faces due east – perfect for sunrises.
